My name is Daniel, and I wear a few hats.
To quite a few folx, I’m a Senior Lecturer in Media at RMIT University. Despite that job title, I don’t just lecture; I also teach, write and publish articles, books, and book chapters, contribute to and work with research groups and centres, and work with my colleagues to build and develop curriculum.
But that’s far from all I am or do.
I’m also a creative person: I have written, produced, and directed film, television, and web content, and I also love creative writing, blogging, photography, and tinkering with things online.
Outside of working and making, I try to read as much as I’m able, watch films and TV series, and play games. The shelf of shame is still very full, but I’m getting there.
For a very rough overview of what I’m currently up to, see this page.
