Now

This is a now page, inspired by Irene, Steve, and Derek.

  • I’m lecturing and teaching into a Masters-level course called Creative Media Work Practices. While I redeveloped the course last year, I’ve tweaked it heavily this year to incorporate ethical, practical, and philosophical conundra around generative AI in the creative industries.
  • Two journal articles of mine are currently under review: one on analysing AI images, another on small/weird applications of AI.
  • I’m working on a book proposal that brings together my work with glitch methods and generative AI.
  • I’m 50% into Joe Abercrombie’s The Blade Itself, and I’m also slowly making my way through Anna Tsing’s The Mushroom at the End of the World.
